4th of July
We enjoyed the 4th of July at home this year. Lorin picked up some GREAT fireworks. I think he might have enjoyed lighting them more than the we enjoyed watching them. Our neighbors The Howard's came down to enjoy the festivies. We had ribs, chicken, watermelon and lots of kids having fun!!! God Bless America!!

Gavin's Preschool Graduation

Gavin is officially a Kindergartener, although a few weeks ago he told me "I'm not going to a new school and I'm not in Kindergarten". I think he is coming around. He is growing up right before our eyes. We love you!!

Star Wars visits the Library!!
The kids and I went to a Star Wars party at the Library a few weeks ago. They made light sabers and other Star Warys stuff (I have no clue), but what matters is they had fun and it was free!!! I have to say the library does a good job at kids programming.

When we got out of the car Lorin discovered the wheel on the wagon was broken..crikkee...it took a long time to make it too the beach, we finally made it. We sure took a lot of stuff. The weather was perfect..not too hot..nice breeze..the kids didn't fight once. It was the best gift of the day!

Happy Birthday Gavin
We celebrated Gavin's 5th birthday yesterday. He had a party at the bowling alley. There's nothing like boys in a bowling alley. We all had a good time. Best of all Mommy didn't have to clean the house before, during or after the party!!! Whoo Hoo!!
It's hard to believe he is 5 years old. I'm sure the next five years will be just as exciting as the first five. Gavin you make my heart melt!
FYI**** You can click on the pictures to enlarge them******

Lindsay's 1st Science Project
Lindsay had her first (of many I'm sure) science project. Here are a few pictures. She was quite proud after is was completed, but boy it was like pulling teeth to get her to work on it. I think it's ridiculous for a kindergartener to have to complete a science project it might as well been called parent project. But I was determined for it to be her project, I did guide her, but she did ALL the work. She especially didn't like that her hypothesis was wrong (as you know she likes to be right about everything.. I wonder where she gets that?). Anyway, I was proud of all her hard work. I am also glad it's over.

Shamrock Hunt
We went to a Shamrock Hunt this past weekend at Brandi's. The kids hunted for shamrocks and had leprechaun fizz. We all had a great time.
Yesterday the leprechauns were hard at work at our house. He turned the kids breakfast and lunch GREEN!! Lindsay loved it...Gavin he wasn't too sure about his green shamrock biscuit. The Leprechaun even left the kids some gold (chocolate) coins. Everyone had a fun time!
